SPRINGFIELD -- The Effingham County Lady Rebels broke into the win column Tuesday.
Senior Shermarah Hicklen had a game to remember, scoring 24 points in a 68-47 Region 2-AAAAAA victory over New Hampstead.
“I am so proud of her,” said Lady Rebels head coach Katy Fleming. “And I was happy to see her show some emotion.”
The Lady Rebels (1-3, 1-0)  didn’t waste anytime flexing their muscles offensively. They were on top 27-10 in the first half and never looked back.
