State Sen. Jack Hill (R-Reidsville), chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, spoke on the current state of Georgia health care at the Tuesday meeting of the Effingham Hospital Authority. Norma Jean Morgan, chief executive officer of Effingham Hospital, presented Hill with a PAC contribution check on behalf of the Georgia Healthcare Association. After the presentation a representative from Draffin and Tucker CPAs presented the hospital’s annual financial report.
