Hospital to cut ribbon on new Physicians Center

A special ribbon cutting ceremony will held today at 10 a.m. in front of the main entrance of the new Physician’s Center building at Effingham Hospital’s main medical campus at Springfield.

The new Physician’s Center will be used by the medical staff for examination and treatment of patients at Effingham Hospital. This newly erected modular building will provide much needed physician exam and treatment areas.

The new structure is also needed because of an increase in the hospital’s inpatient census which is reclaiming the existing Physician’s Center rooms for inpatient beds.

This new structure consists of 2,430 additional square feet of hospital space for Physician’s Center use.
