Hughes accepts state FFA post; Dickerson named ECHS principal

SPRINGFIELD -- Ebenezer Middle School Principal Amie Dickerson has been chosen to succeed Billy Hughes as principal of Effingham County High School.

Hughes has accepted a job with Georgia FFA.

The Effingham County Board of Education approved the move during Thursday night's regularly scheduled meeting.

Dickerson will start her new job Oct. 10.
