SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield Mayor Bart Alderman drew no opposition in the Nov. 2 election. His current stint as mayor started in 2013 and he previously served from 2004-2009,

Springfield City Councilmembers Jerry Maennche, Jamey Stancell and Kenny Usher are not seeking reelection. They will be replaced by Dee Moncrief, Jenny Denney and Mallory Jenkins, the lone candidates to qualify last week.
