GUYTON -- The South Effingham Mustangs kept knock, knock, knockin' until they got the win Tuesday night.

Chase Warren ended a 14-inning affair with a grand slam that powered the Mustangs to a thrilling 7-4 victory over Glynn Academy. They rallied from one run down in the seventh and eighth frames before Warren ended the drama with his blast.

Blake McCollum got the win in relief, allowing no hits and one run over the last three innings. He followed Josh Berg and Dylan Wallace on the hill.

Berg went seven strong innings, striking out the last hitter he faced with his 100th pitch of the contest. He surrendered one hit and fanned eight.

McCollum, Warren, Wallace and Jake Sapp eacg had two hits to lead an 11-hit attack.
