Rincon – Mae Morgan Hendricks, 81, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at Memorial Health.

The Effingham County native was a retired vice president at Sun Trust Bank after 45 plus years of service. She was a longtime active member of Rincon Baptist Temple, where she was the church secretary for the past 14 years. 

Mae and her husband, Gary also had a catering business for many years. Mae loved her family, her church, and the Hallmark Channel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Hendricks; parents, Grady & Roxie Morgan; and brother, Charles Morgan.

Survivors include her son, Jay G. Hendricks and his wife, Polly; granddaughter, Avery Hendricks; brother-in-law, Larry Hendricks; and other relatives.

Visitation: 1-2 pm Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Rincon Baptist Temple.

Funeral: 2 pm Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Rincon Baptist Temple. 

Burial: Mizpah Church Cemetery.
