RINCON — Oglethorpe Power, one of the nation’s largest power supply cooperatives and one of the largest energy producers in Georgia, hosted Effingham County community leaders Friday for an open house event at the Effingham Energy Facility, a 500-megawatt natural gas-fired power plant.
