Perseverance pays for South Effingham's Harris

GUYTON -- Faith Harris was undaunted by a torn ACL that kept her from playing volleyball during her senior year at South Effingham High School. That's because her perspective about life's challenges changed forever after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when she was just 12 years old. "A torn ACL is nothing compared to what I went through back then," Harris said Thursday, one day after signing a national letter of intent to attend Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

Help Manna House Upgrade Its Parking Lot
