Raisin the effort for the Capitol

The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce held its annual raisin bread-baking effort Thursday at Ebenezer Middle School, in preparation for the Effingham Day at the Capitol festivities. Individual loaves of raisin bread were baked, in two shifts, for the 236 members of the Georgia General Assembly, with a loaf delivered to each of the senators and representatives Monday morning.
