Rebels, Mustangs focus on themselves

The Effingham County Rebels and South Effingham Mustangs spent their open weeks doing exactly the same thing. They worked on fundamentals and eliminating mistakes instead of preparing for their annual battle for the County Champions Trophy.

The Rebels and Mustangs, set to clash at South Effingham on Friday at 7:30 p.m., were often their own worst enemy in their first two games, leaving both in search of their initial victory of 2017.
