Seven pitchers combined to no-hit Screven County on Tuesday, leading the Effingham County Rebels to a 12-0 win in their season opener in Sylvania.

Josh Bassett,  Taylor Rigdon, Caden Kessler, Griffin Howe, Zach Garcia,  Mason Mealor and Inaki Hutchinson tallied at least one strikeout apiece en route to a team total of 13. Bassett and Garcia logged three apiece.

Matthew Ford was the Rebels' leading hitter, socking two with two RBI. Trent Newberry scored three times and Tyler Wells and Mason Mock each crossed the plate twice.

The Rebels scored in every frame of the seven-inning affair except the second. They totaled just five hits but drew eight walks, including two apiece by JD Coleman and Wells.
