During its meeting on Dec. 17, 2018, the Effingham County Board of Commissioners awarded a contract to E & D Contracting Services Inc. for the replacement of Honey Ridge Road Bridge.
Construction is anticipated to begin at the end of January. The road will remain closed until the end of March.
This schedule is contingent upon weather.
Flashing message boards will be placed roadside two weeks prior to the road closure.
