Restaurant reopens after scoring 14

RINCON — The Georgia Department of Public Health has allowed Omelette Cafe on Columbia Avenue to reopen on a provisionary basis after it was shut down last week following scores of 48 and 14 on successive inspections within a five-day span. A perfect score is 100.
The restaurant was flagged for a lengthy string of repeated violations, including a lack of proper hand washing by employees. It was also cited for the improper storage and handling of some food items.
A follow-up inspection is reportedly planned for next week.
