Rincon to re-route traffic during parade

Highway 21 will be closed from 9:30 a.m.-noon in Rincon for the annual Fourth of July parade.

The northbound traffic flow on Highway 21 will be diverted onto Fort Howard Road to Rincon-Stillwell Road and then onto Highway 275. The southbound traffic flow will be diverted onto Middleground Road to Blandford Road and then onto S. Carolina Avenue to Highway 21.

Law enforcement authorities from the Rincon Police Department will be posted at major intersections. The City of Rincon will place barricades or police officers on Highway 21 at the following intersections: Middleground Road, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 17th Sts. and Fort Howard Road.
