SPRINGFIELD -- The Effingham County Criminal Investigative Unit is asking the public to help it identify a person of interest in a recent theft.

The subject is a white male. He was last seen riding with a female in a maroon Hyundai Santa fe. Anyone with information on this person of interest is asked to call the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office at 912-754-3449 and ask to speak to an investigator, or call crimestoppers and report anonymously at 912-234-2020.
