Representatives from Effingham County and South Effingham high schools are reflecting their school spirit in a Rincon restaurant.

On Friday, McDonald's welcomed the schools to decorate its windows with athletic scenes in their schools colors -- blue, white and red for Effingham County and cardinal and silver for South Effingham.

Effingham County will visit South Effingham on Sept. 8 for county supremacy in football, The Rebels won 34-7 last year, giving them a 12-11 series edge over the Mustangs.

Friends of Manna House is fundraising in August to renovate the busy food pantry parking lot. The community is invited to shop donated décor and support the project.
