Smoke test set for sewer system
Guyton City Council

The City of Guyton is conducting a smoke test of its sanitary sewer system.

EOM will begin smoke testing sewer mains Thursday in the area around 4th Street. Extension. This involves forcing harmless smoke into the sewer system to find leaks.

Residents should briefly run their sinks and tubs to make sure that all P-Traps are full of water, which will prevent any smoke from getting in their house.

Contact City Hall if you have any questions (912)772-3353.
