Steve Jarvis to run for Buddy Carter's seat in congress

Bernard Stefan (Steve) Jarvis has announced that he is running as a democrat for the Congressional seat currently occupied by Rep. Buddy Carter in the 2018 election.

Jarvis filed his paperwork to run in June and is running against Buddy Carter (incumbent) and John McCallum of the Republican Party and Lisa M. Ring of the Democratic Party.

On Friday, a Press Release was sent out from Jarvis’ campaign announcing that on Thursday, an official introduction of a candidate (Steve Jarvis) for the First District of Georgia to the US Congress in the November 2018 General Election will take place at Johnson Square in downtown Savannah at 12:30 p.m.

The introduction will take place rain or shine.

The 2018 Election will take place in November of next year - they will be the midterm elections.
