SPRINGFIELD -- The Effingham County Board of Commissioners honored an employee for his many years of service during its Tuesday meeting at the County Administrative Complex.

Operations Manager Bob Summers was presented a plaque recognizing his 25 years of service to Effingham County Emergency Medical Services. He is set to retire at the end of the month.
