A National Day of Mourning has been set for Wednesday, December 5th to honor President George H. W. Bush.  The United States Postal Service will be closed, along with many other government agencies.  Please be aware that this will delay Effingham Herald delivery to Thursday, December 6th.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bush family during this time of mourning.
