Veterans Open Job Fair set in Hinesville

HINESVILLE -- The Georgia Department of Labor, Hinesville Career Center and Liberty College & Career Academy are partnering to host the 2018 Veterans Open Job Fair. More than 30 employers are expected to attend and may be conducting on the spot interviews for current openings.  

 

The event is June 27 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Liberty College and Career Academy, 245 Dorsey Road, Hinesville. This event is open to active duty military, retirees, guardsmen and reservists, military dependent family members and members of the community.

 

Job seekers interested in attending this event may visit employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload, or prepare, a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account expedites the interview process. 

 

Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes, driver’s licenses and dress business casual to improve their chances to be hired.

Friends of Manna House is fundraising in August to renovate the busy food pantry parking lot. The community is invited to shop donated décor and support the project.
