Dear Friends,

Words could never express how blessed my family and I are to have such wonderful friends like you. Your kindness, food, and sweet gifts blessed our hearts greatly as our son, Caleb, battled with lymphoma cancer. We thank God for your love, support, and prayers during this trying time.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Effingham County Board of Education for keeping our promise to the folks of Effingham County by reducing the millage as the digest begins to rise. Also, I am very thankful you were able to give our wonderful teachers and staff a much deserved raise. We went through very difficult times, and it appears our saving and cost-cutting measures paid off. Thank you to the board of education for your understanding and support during this journey that we have experienced.

Thank you to all of the candidates of the fourth district school board race for your kindness and courtesy you showed to me. Congratulations to Beth Helmly for being chosen to fill my position. Our prayers are with you and all of the school board.

We appreciate the love and support that we have received from the people of Effingham. Also, we are thankful for the wonderful story that Paul Floeckher wrote and published in the Effingham Herald about Caleb. Caleb just got a clear PET scan, and he has returned to work. We thank God for his mercy and grace.

Please continue to pray for Caleb and all of those who have battled and are still fighting cancer and other illnesses.

Sincerely,

Mose, Dale, Caleb, Jada and Joshua Mock
