In recent days I learned that the present tree at city hall was 24 feet tall. What happened?

How sad it seems that city hall cannot get a decent tree for Christmas. Yes, the garden club puts it there I have heard that story. The lights look tacky. The star is pushed into the tree, not sitting a top the tree. Why is it that we cannot have a tree at City Hall that the community can be proud of?  I know one was planted last year, but they cut the top of it out to put the star on it. Sad.

Will Rincon City Hall ever have a proper Christmas tree?
