Dear Editor,

Special congratulations to Victim Witness in celebrating 20 years on Effingham County. The banquet and candlelight vigil was very nice. There was great support from concerned citizens and businesses in this county to celebrate the history and current events of this organization. We appreciate the hard work from those who served and worked in the early days carving out a work that is still here today.

Special thanks also to Effingham County Board of Commissioners in recognizing this as Effingham Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The services Victim Witness offers are immeasurable to our community when a family or a child is in need. Thank you to Director Glenda King, the staff and volunteers—keep up the good work.
