Dear Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to support our sheriff, Jimmy McDuffie.

Jimmy has done an outstanding job of tackling the horrible drug traffic in our county.  His law enforcement team is one of the most courteous and well trained in the state.

Our county is fortunate to have a caring and loyal man like Jimmy. On the night of the tornado, Jimmy personally checked on everyone who was affected. He saw me on Mock Road and helped me put out a fire. He then worked his way down Long Bridge Road to Ebenezer Road stopping and assisting wherever possible. 

Looking at the McDuffie signs on Ebenezer Road, and one will quickly see how those people feel about him.

Every time I see a deputy with a hat over his heart assisting a funeral or see officers guarding our children at county functions, I feel proud to have a man of Jimmy’s morals and character in the high office of sheriff. 

Please join me in supporting Jimmy McDuffie in the upcoming primary.
