SPRINGFIELD  -- Effingham County's junior varsity softball team clipped Tattnall County  9-8 and 8-7 at Rebel Field on Monday.

 Freshman Emily Dickey pitched the entire first game and the first three innings of the second one.  Alaina Garcia, another ninth grader, pitched the last three innings of the final contest.
