South Effingham came close to back-to-back perfect pitching performances against Bradwell Institute on Thursday.
After Izzy Wilkins tossed a perfect game in a three-inning 15-0 victory, Bailey Kendziorski almost duplicated the feat. A walk with two outs in the final frame was the lone blemish on her stat line.
Wilkins recorded five strikeouts in her victory. Kendziorski fanned nine.
Chloe Turner socked three hits and had three RBI in the first game. Whitney Thompson, Kaley Stone and Reagan Salter each added two hits. Thompson, Stone and Salter also drove in two runs apiece.
Avery Roddenberry and Thompson had three hits each in the second contest. Kenzie Ergle added two.
Kendziorski and Jaden Burns each had three RBI. Roddenberry and Thompson both drove in two runs.
