Season ends for local teams

South Effingham’s boys and girls soccer teams, and the Effingham County girls soccer team all had struggles on the road in the first round of the Class AAAAAA state playoffs.


Thursday, the SEHS girls (11-6) lost to Lakeside 8-3 and the ECHS girls (7-10) fell at North Atlanta 10-0.


Friday, the Mustang boys (13-6) lost to North Atlanta 3-0.
