South Effingham's cross country teams travelled to Wayne County on Friday and ran in the rain against 18 other schools.
The Mustangs placed second overall. South's top five finishers were:
Cailan Howard, first
Tyler Phillips, second
Joey Burdick, 14th
Karistopher Gadsden
Caiden Mason.
The Lady Mustangs finished third overall. Their top five finishers were:
Cheyenne Ryan, fourth
Lily McDonald
Madison Lockhart
Brianna Barber
Magdeline Morgan.
