The Rincon Bobcats won the Savannah River Shootout baseball tournament held in Barnwell, S.C., from Aug. 22-23. The Bobcats won three of five games in tournament play and beat the Chain Dirt Dogs in the championship game. Winning pitchers were Landon Bell with four strikeouts, Ryan Thompson with nine strikeouts and Tyler Morris with three strikeouts.
