The Rincon Bobcats won the Peach State Diamond Sports World Series silver division June 20-22 in Brunswick.

The Bobcats defeated Georgia boys’ baseball from Cordele 11-1 in the championship game.

This year the Bobcats played in 11 tournaments. Their accomplishments are first place in Savannah Spring Swing, Garden City Jay Harrell and Brunswick World Series; second place at Garden City Ronnie Huggins; third place in Richmond Hill Battle at the Hill and Savannah Georgia Games; and fourth place in Savannah Triple Crown.

The sponsors for the Bobcats this year were Ag Hill Farms, Gordon’s Heating and Air, Adams Warnock Inc., in memory of Michael Wullert, Low Country Fleet Services, Moore’s ATA Black Belt Academy, Sapp’s Wrecker Service and W. Darrel Hutcheson State Farm.
