Effingham County at South Effingham basketball scores

GUYTON -- Effingham County's girls basketball team snapped a 14-game losing streak by beating South Effingham 53-39 Saturday night.

De'ja House House paced the Lady Rebels (3-14), who lost at home to South Effingham 63-51 last month, with 20 points. Mallori Jenkins led the Lady Mustangs (11-5) with 18 points.

The Rebels (3-14) prevailed in the boys game 61-33. It was their second win of the season against the Mustangs (1-14).
