Hinely claims Mini Stocks at OSP

Chris Hinely of Springfield held off Guyton’s Bobby Morris and Chris Johnson to claim the Red Diamond Homes Mini Stocks last Friday at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Pooler.

James Groce Sr. of Guyton was ninth, with Michael Bean of Guyton finishing 11th, Buddy Jacoby of Rincon in 13th, Randy Fields of Springfield taking 16th, Michael Screen of Rincon in18th and Charissa Dudley of Guyton in 22nd.

Jay Hendrix of Rincon was second in the Love’s Seafood Street Stocks, finishing behind Bloomingdale’s Brian Barnes.

Danny Harrington of Guyton was second in the Four Star Security 440s, while Christopher Weiss of Rincon was seventh, Ricky Kellam of Rincon was 11th and Genny Harrington of Guyton was 12th.

Darrell Williams of Guyton was fourth in the Boo Koo Late Models.

Racing continues this Friday at OSP with the flag dropping at 8 p.m.
