Tovar Allen (Alabama State University) — Allen returned to his starting right tackle spot against Alabama A&M, and the Hornets won 31-7. Alabama State had 428 yards of offense. The Hornets (6-2) will visit Kentucky on Saturday.

Justin McIntyre (LaGrange College) —McIntyre had four tackles and 1.5 sacks in the Panthers’ 43-41 loss to Methodist. LaGrange (3-4) will host Christopher Newport (Va.) on Saturday.

Women’s soccer

Sydnie Van Curen (Georgia Southern University) — The junior forward had one shot on goal in the 2-0 loss to Wofford, which followed a 2-0 setback to Furman. The Eagles (5-10-2, 3-5-1 SoCon) will host Davidson on Wednesday in the regular-season finale.

Marissa Hamm (University of South Carolina Beaufort) — The sophomore did not play in the 1-0 win over Southeastern and played but did not take a shot in a 5-1 victory over Ave Maria. The Sand Sharks (9-8-1) open The Sun Conference quarterfinals Nov. 7.
