Josh Reddick (Oakland Athletics) — Reddick went 4-for-17 with a double, a homer and one run batted in the A’s American League Division Series loss to Detroit. He also drew two walks and had a .786 OPS during the series.

Men’s basketball
Ryan Wilkins (Middle Georgia State College) — A freshman, Wilkins had 13 points in an exhibition game at the CB Hoops Jamboree in Columbus. The Knights will play two more exhibitions before starting the regular season Nov. 1 at Santa Fe (Fla.) College.
Men’s cross country
Jesse Campbell (Georgia Regents University) — Campbell finished 99th with a time of 28:18.3 at the Royals Cross Country Challenge at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday.
Blaine Ketchum (Tennessee Temple University) — The Crusaders will run again Oct.19 at Berry College.
Damon Webb (Gordon State College) — Webb had a time of 32:53.59 in the Maryville (Tenn.) College Invitational and he was 44th at 31:55.53 at the University of West Georgia Invitational.
Ernie Zittrouer (Gordon State College) — A sophomore, Zittrouer was the Highlanders’ top finisher at the Maryville College Invitational, turning in a time of 31:31.62 to finish in the top 20. He was 36th with a time of 30:11.20 at the University of West Georgia Invitational.
Football
Tovar Allen (Alabama State University) — Allen, slowed by an ankle injury, did not play in the Hornets’ 48-42 overtime win over Prairie View A&M on Saturday. Alabama State (5-2) is off this week.
Justin McIntyre (LaGrange College) — A sophomore linebacker, McIntyre had five tackles in the Panthers’ 47-35 loss to Maryville (Tenn.) College.
Stephen Wilson (LaGrange College) — Wilson is a freshman offensive lineman for the Panthers and played in the loss to Maryville. LaGrange (2-3) will host Huntingdon (Ala.) on Oct. 19.
Josh Mercer (North Carolina State) — A freshman running back, Mercer did not play in the Wolfpack’s 24-10 loss to Syracuse. N.C. State (3-3) is off this week.
Women’s soccer
Sydnie Van Curen (Georgia Southern University) — The junior forward had the first goal in a 5-0 rout of Francis Marion last Monday for her second goal of the season. She had three shots in a 3-2 win over The Citadel on Sunday. The Eagles (4-7-2, 2-2-1 SoCon) will host Elon on Friday.
Marissa Hamm (University of South Carolina Beaufort) — The sophomore played in the Sand Sharks’ 3-0 loss to Webber and had one shot in the 3-2 win over Warner on Sunday. The Sand Sharks (4-6-1) will host SCAD on Friday.
