• Josh Reddick, Portland Sea Dogs (AA) — Reddick homered twice Monday against New Hampshire in 9-1 victory and now has 12 home runs — in 203 at-bats — and 22 RBIs on the season. He is 5 for his last 13 and his average is at .271. His OPS is .883 and he has 13 doubles.

• Austin Chambliss, Modesto Nuts (A) — The former SEHS ace was sent back down to Modesto from Double-A Tulsa on June 10. In his first appearance back in Single-A, Chambliss struck out two and allowed one hit in 1 2/3 scoreless innings.

Chambliss earned a hold with a scoreless inning, striking out two, in a 2-0 win over Corpus Christi on July 2. He got the loss in a 3-2 defeat at the hands of San Antonio on July 5, allowing a run on two hits in 1 2/3 innings. He gave up three runs on three hits in an inning July 9 in a 7-1 loss to Corpus Christi. Chambliss was 1-2 with a 4.76 earned run average in 24 appearances for the Drillers, striking out 22 in 28 1/3 innings. He only allowed one home run. According to the Tulsa World, Chambliss was sent down to make room for starting pitcher Brandon Durden.
