• Josh Reddick, Portland Sea Dogs (AA) — Reddick went 3-for-6, scoring three runs and driving in two in a 19-1 win over New Britain on Monday. He was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the first game of a doubleheader Wednesday against New Britain. For the season, Reddick — the everyday center fielder and leadoff man for the Sea Dogs — is hitting .266 with 13 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has an OPS of .827.

• Austin Chambliss, Modesto Nuts (A) — Since rejoining the Nuts, who play in he Class-A advanced California League, Chambliss has struck out seven batters in five innings over four appearances. He fanned three and walked two in 1 2/3 hitless and scoreless innings Wednesday at Stockton. For the season at Modesto, Chambliss is 1-0 with 2.39 earned run average and is holding opposing batters to a .181 average. He is 2-2 with a 3.62 ERA combined this season.
