Reimer first, Crosby third at state

Two members of the South Effingham Wrestling Academy brought home medals from the Georgia State Tournament held at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee.

In the 14-and-under 136-pound division, Chaz Reimer was first in both Greco-Roman and freestyle competitions. Reimer pinned Matthew Moore of Apalachee Wildcats WC in the finals and was 2-0 in his matches, winning both by pin.

Jeffrey Crosby was third in the 12-and-under 85-pound class. Crosby pinned Adam Flatt of Collins Hill WC in the consolation finals. Crosby had beaten Flatt by decision in the quarterfinals before falling to Cayman Seagraves of Pope Jr. WC. Crosby beat Justin Skinner of Apalchee Wildcats WC in the consolation semis.
