All-Star Classic
The Coastal Empire Baseball-Softball All-Star Classic will be held at Port Wentworth’s Mobley Park from June 12-14. Age groups are 7-8 boys and girls, 9-10 boys and girls, 11-12 boys and girls and 10 open and 11 open. Each team entered is guaranteed three games. The entry fee is $175. Awards will be given to the individuals on the first place teams and first-place teams also will get $100 back. If more than five teams are entered in an age division, the second-place team’s individuals will get awards. For more information, call 772-5407.
Mini Mustang Football Camp
The Mini Mustang football camp will be held June 15-17 at South Effingham High School. The camp is for ages 6-14 and instruction will be held from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The camp will be conducted by SEHS head football coach Greg Manior and the SEHS football staff. Special guests will include former N.C. State head coach Dick Sheridan and former SEHS star and current Arena League player Keith Glover. Cost for the camp is $100. Checks and money orders can be made payable to the SEHS Touchdown Club. Daily snacks will be provided and campers will receive a T-shirt on the last day of camp. Rebels Baseball Camp
The Rebels baseball camp will be held June 15-18 at ECHS. Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at Effingham County High School.
Mini Mustang Cheer Camp
The SEHS cheerleaders are hosting a cheerleading camp July 14-17, for girls aged kindergarten through seventh grade. Cost is $75 and will also include a camp CD, photo, T-shirt and daily snacks. Registration deadline for T-shirt is June 12. Late registration at the door is $85 and T-shirts may not be available. To register, call Suzanne Spivey at 728-4169, or Lynda Osborne at 826-2306.
