SEHS 100-Inning Game
The “Meet the Mustangs” 100-inning game will begin Feb. 13 at 8 a.m. There will be food and spirit wear for sale and all former and future Mustangs will be introduced during the noon and evening games. Younger kids who will attend South Effingham High School in the future can wear their current uniform, take the field during the National Anthem and be introduced. Alumni will be introduced and invited to play during the alumni/teacher/coaches game. For details, call Marianne Harvey at 667-4812 or 728-8630.

AAU Basketball Tryouts
Any boys in grades 5-9 interested in trying out for Effingham AAU Basketball are invited to come to tryouts on Feb. 12, 13, and 20. Information and tryouts will start on Feb. 12 from 7-9 p.m. at the Springfield Annex in Springfield. Teams are being formed in every age group from 5-9. Kids are allowed to play baseball and still play on the team. The teams will compete in tournaments in March, April and May. Registration will be through the Effingham County Recreation Department. Lady Warriors Tryouts
The Savannah Lady Warriors, the WBCBL national champions, will hold tryouts Feb. 20 at Myers Middle School at 10 a.m. The school is at 2025 E. 52nd St. in Savannah. The cost for the event is $30. For more information, contact coach Curtis Foster at (386) 214-9993 or at Coachfoster69@hotmail.com.
