Stampede finishes a big year at Series

The Stampede, a team of 10-year-olds playing live pitch, recently competed in the BPA World Series championship in Franklin, Tenn., falling to the Battlefield Red Sox 6-1 in the championship game.

The Stampede went 6-1 in the tournament. The team has played in 12 tournaments, placing in the top four in each tourney and playing in the championship game in nine of them.

The Stampede also went 11-1 in the Effingham County Recreation and Parks’ open league and finished 49-15 overall.
