Team Georgia Blue, with Effingham County High School’s Cal Baker and South Effingham High School’s Dylan Griffin among its members, defeated Team Georgia Red 5-1 in the USA Baseball U16 East Championships on Thursday in Palm Beach, Fla.

Team Georgia Blue posted a 3-0 win over Palm Beach Select on Tuesday.

Team Georgia Blue, now 4-2, played Team Orlando late Thursday and is scheduled to play Red Raider Baseball today at 11 a.m. in its final game of the tournament.
