Seniors who completed the training were: Emily Cope, Sara Hampton, Benjamin Heller, James Bailey Morris, Sophie Usher and Hannah Weitman. Juniors were: Breanna Brisendine, Kate Cope, Marci Delcampo, Rylee Kirk, Logan McDonald, Samantha McDuffie and Alex Parrish.

Of the many opportunities in Georgia 4-H to develop leadership, one of the most positive experiences is the opportunity for older 4-H’ers to mentor younger 4-H’ers by serving as teen leaders in their county, district and state programs. Teen leaders have specific responsibilities and leadership roles such as assisting 4-H staff in planning, conducting and instructing events. They also are expected to exemplify good behavior, manners and time management skills.
