The Effingham County High School Future Business Leaders of America club will be hosting its third annual Little Mr. and Miss Rebel pageant on Nov. 1.

On site registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the pageant will begin at 10 in the school cafeteria. All alumni are encouraged to enter their children and/or grandchildren so they can be “Little” Rebels.

The dress for this year is cute and casual—attire that is casual and fits your child’s personality. Age divisions for the pageant include Baby Mr. and Miss for 12-24 months; Wee Mr. and Miss for 2-3-year-olds; and Tiny Mr. and Miss for 4-5-year-olds; and Little Mr. and Miss for 6-7-year-olds.

Entry forms are available at ECHS, from FBLA members, and on www.effhigh.com under FBLA. All entry forms should be returned to ECHS or emailed to sduff@effingham.k12.ga.us by Oct. 27.  Registration with entry form is $30 in advance or $35 the day of the pageant. All participants are encouraged to register early.  There will also be a Most Photogenic winner in each category. To enter please submit a snapshot — not a professional picture — of your child with the entry form along with the $10 fee.  All participants will receive a small trophy and winners will receive a larger trophy and sash.

Admission to the pageant is $3 and children 4 and under are free. All proceeds from the pageant will go to the FBLA students for region and state competition expenses. Students participating in FBLA learn leadership skills, host an annual canned food drive and participate in the Relay for Life.
