ECHS FBLA members and SEHS FBLA members dived in to help Elam Egypt Baptist Church with the Big Clothing Give Away, which took place July 30 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The chapter members helped unload the many truck and trailer loads of clothing donated by the community.

According to Brenda Harden, who organized this great event, there were almost 800 people in attendance on Saturday. They helped over 1,500 people with clothing needs to begin the school year.

From her beginnings as a kindergarten paraprofessional to her vital role in the district’s testing office, Nixon has impacted generations of students and educators with her work ethic, professionalism and heart.
