The Effingham Community Orchestra has awarded its third annual academic scholarships.
The 2013 recipients are Valerie Rowe, Kayla Morrison, Janese Riley and Alex Naber.
One of the missions of Effingham Community Orchestra is to nurture its musicians by granting annual academic scholarships. To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships, an individual must be a musician member in good standing of Effingham Community Orchestra.
The orchestra is comprised of both adult and high school youth musicians and is currently accepting additional musicians.
