Chloe Phillips was crowned Miss South Effingham Middle School in the school’s annual pageant. Twenty-five young ladies competed for the title.

Among the categories Phillips won were highest score in business wear, most photogenic and Miss Congeniality.

Elizabeth Kicklighter was first runner-up while Raquel Hazzard was second runner-up and Ashtian Kessler was third runner-up. Kimberly Schwartz was Miss Sixth Grade, Bailey Yarbrough was Miss Seventh Grade and Anna Chumley was Miss Eighth Grade. Hazzard also won highest GPA, along with the highest score in on-stage question and people’s choice. Chelsea Eddy won for highest score in formal wear.

Phillips, Kessler, Kicklighter, Victoria Farrar and Jessica Oberlander won in highest teacher recommendation.
