School system to host resource fair

The Effingham County School System and the Bulloch Team of Right From the Start Medicaid Project are hosting the first Harvest Community Resource Fair in the Lowe’s parking lot on Oct. 30 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
 
Families are encouraged to attend and learn about local resources including food pantries, free school uniforms, employment support for individuals with disabilities, respite care, mental health assistance, healthcare, pregnancy care and much more. 
 
There will be activities for the children including a costume contest at noon for 1-10 year olds sponsored by the ECHS Science Club. Food will be available for purchase from an assortment of school clubs and organizations.
