In its fifth year, the South Effingham High School Fashion Show was a different beast than in its previous installments, with 19 design teams and 35 garments raising the bar for local high fashion once again.

“This show is much larger than any of the shows that we’ve had in the past,” said Mary Cale Anderegg, visual arts teacher at SEHS and director of the fashion show.

More than 40 students participated in the show as either designers, models or both. The garments reflected one of three themes: “Bland and White,” “A Garment Worth 1,000 Words,” and “Go Green!,” the last of which required garments be built without fabric, only repurposed items.
